Local work Is faster and load files quickly and also benefit from localhost work, you can access all files of the entire project. If you are installing a plugin on localhost then you see Connection Information Message and unable to Install plugin on localhost. Many developers facing this problem. Install/Update Wordpress Plugin Without FTP

Add the below code into your WordPress wp-config.php file and change your file system method.

define('FS_METHOD', 'direct');
